GDIT's summer internship program is a 10-week experience offering interns meaningful, high-impact work on real client projects. Interns benefit from professional development, networking with leaders, and access to online learning platforms with certifications. They receive competitive pay and 401(k) eligibility. The company offers hands-on experience with meaningful federal and defense projects, and interns are regularly encouraged to contribute their ideas.
Posted requisitions detail the respective educational requirement (undergraduate or graduate) along with the corresponding discipline of study.  General Dynamics Information Technology requires interns to be currently enrolled at a 2 or 4-year college or university.Â
The General Dynamics Information Technology internship requires a full-time (40 hours per week) commitment for the full 10-week summer program. Extensions beyond the normal 10-weeks are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on departmental need as well as the availability of the intern.
In addition to those individuals demonstrating strong skill sets and a professional demeanor, our organization looks for those who have a passion to grow and succeed.
