There weren't enough hands-on/interactive activities pertaining to actual work, but that's pretty much solely due to COVID.
Advice to Potential Interns
Treat the interview for the internship as an internship for a full-time offer. If you get picked for the internship, you are basically guaranteed a full-time offer, so make sure to do well in the interview.
Advice to Management
Possibly lengthen the internship by a week in order to fit in hands-on/interactive activities that will better prepare us for day-to-day work tasks.
