Grant Thornton’s internship program lasts 8–15 weeks, depending on service line and season. The two primary seasons are winter (January–April) and summer (June–July), with select locations and service lines offering fall programs (September–November). The internship combines hands-on client experience with networking and professional development opportunities. Internship activities can include volunteering, socials, culture immersion activities, local office integration, research projects, and more. In addition, interns will participate in a robust mentorship program where they receive guidance and feedback on their performance. Interns who do well in the program may be considered for an additional internship or full-time opportunity, depending on their performance, goals, and timeline. As with all Grant Thornton programs, students are invited to explore their interests, ask questions, and bring their authentic selves to work.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or other relevant field of study
• Major and overall minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• The willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites
Skill Requirements:
• Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical aptitude and skillset
• Demonstrated project management skillset including project planning and time management
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment
