Rahul Ramesh, Senior Consultant
Rahul joined Putnam in 2021 as a Senior Associate Consultant with a robust background in chemicals, materials, and life sciences from his tenure at a boutique strategy consulting firm. Rahul holds an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. As a Consultant, Rahul revels in tackling complex problems for our clients alongside our exceptional team, finding inspiration in the diversity of each project. One of his favorite endeavors involves working on growth strategy projects, where Rahul brings his passion for strategic thinking to the forefront. Beyond consulting, he is part of the New York office engagement committee, orchestrating exciting events that contribute to our vibrant workplace culture.

Meredith Whetzel, Principal
Meredith joined Putnam in 2016 as a Summer Associate Intern and spent 10 weeks immersing herself in project work. She returned as a full-time associate consultant in 2017. Since then, she has completed nearly 100 different engagements, rising quickly through the ranks to now Principal.
Since her internship nearly a decade ago, Meredith has gained extensive experience providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations to pharmaceutical and biotech companies across a wide range of therapeutic areas. Her expertise within oncology and rare diseases is particularly strong, having supported the US & ex-US launch and lifecycle management of numerous leading products, with key partnerships lasting over five years. In general, her business engagements have been expansive; however, she has focused primarily on pipeline and marketed product opportunity identification and strategic mitigation against competitive threats. She has a strong grasp of commercial considerations across geographies, inclusive of (but, not limited to) the United States, EU4+UK, and Japan.
Prior to joining Putnam, Meredith earned her BA in economics, with concentrations in finance and international trade, from Dartmouth College.
Cansu Gundem, Consultant
Cansu joined Putnam in 2021 as an Associate Consultant after graduating from Tufts University with a BS in Chemical Engineering. At Putnam, she has the opportunity to learn about the healthcare industry in depth by getting involved in a wide variety of different projects that cover a range of disease areas. The collaborative environment at Putnam has allowed Cansu to work with and learn from colleagues passionate about healthcare, not only to deliver strategic insights to clients, but also to foster her professional growth and critical thinking skills. She is excited to continue her path at Putnam, learning and solving the healthcare industry's complex problems.
