Linklaters recruits associates from top law schools who are interested in complex domestic and global work. People in the office are friendly and collegial, and they enjoy each other’s company both in the office and at social events outside the office. Partners are approachable, and they respect and value associates. They are generous with their time in guiding and advising their assigned more-junior associate mentees, who also receive senior associate mentors. Formal training on substantive areas of practice and on relevant topics is provided at orientation and in monthly sessions. Matters are leanly staffed, so associates have opportunities to take on meaningful and challenging assignments and to meet with clients. Compensation matches the prevailing BigLaw standard.
