The Firm Says
The Summer Associate Program at Neal Gerber Eisenberg is demanding because the firm is looking for its future colleagues and partners. For ten weeks, summer associates are immersed in the culture and work of the firm, and gain valuable experience working with associates and partners. They are assigned mentors and have opportunities to shadow attorneys in action. Assignments are meaningful and allow summer associates to sample the broad range of the firm’s practice areas, including Litigation, Intellectual Property, Corporate, Labor & Employment, Real Estate and others.
NGE’s summer associates have considerable freedom in choosing projects but receive assistance finding those that pique their interests. They also receive assistance identifying the perfect areas in which to begin their careers. The firm provides them with numerous opportunities to get to know attorneys and staff personally, through social events, formal and informal meetings, and lunches hosted by practice group leaders.
