Our summer associates provide legal research, writing, discovery, and other substantive support for attorneys. Summer associates work on a variety of assignments in multiple practice areas. Our summer program features smaller cohorts and more direct individual and small-group interaction with attorneys. Summer associates receive substantive feedback on assignments, along with mentoring, training, and client-facing opportunities. Associate mentors provide guidance, and participants receive both discrete, scenario-based feedback and formal reviews. Nixon Peabody also hosts training sessions, which cover attorney development and retention team and other key topics. Summer associates are also invited to attend social and professional events, allowing them to experience associate life at Nixon Peabody.
