Partners treat associates as colleagues and care about their learning and development, and associates report that the best training comes from direct, one-on-one interactions with partners and senior associates, not from firm-sponsored, formal training regimens. Assigned mentors and a new hire retreat help first year associates and laterals feel welcomed and incorporated into the firm.
