Ashley Secreto is a Senior Technology Consultant at Ignyte Group.

Vault: What does your practice area focus on, and how does it contribute to the broader mission of Ignyte?

Ashley: I am a senior technology consultant who focuses on strategy and execution, ensuring that digital solutions are implemented in a way that is scalable, reliable, and aligned with business outcomes, which directly supports Ignyte’s mission of delivering high‑quality, technology solutions that create measurable impact for our clients.

Vault: Who are your typical clients, and what kinds of challenges do they bring to your team?

Ashley: I have worked with a variety of clients across a wide range of industries from tech to  government to healthcare, etc. They come to us with challenges like fragmented systems, legacy processes, and difficulty coordinating across multiple technical workstreams.

Vault: What skills, experiences, or learning paths would you recommend to someone interested in your practice area?

Ashley: I would highly recommend being versed on Agile/Scrum methodologies and having experience with technical Saas implementations. Beyond technical skills, being able to communicate clearly, manage stakeholders, and think holistically across systems is incredibly valuable.

Vault: What led you to your group/practice area? Was it a planned path or a discovery along the way?

Ashley: I have a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Engineering Sciences because I’ve always enjoyed solving complex technical problems. However, throughout my undergrad experience, I discovered that I wanted to be at least partially customer-facing instead of moving to a pure development role. Technology consulting ended up being a natural fit because it allows me to combine analytical problem solving with client relationship management.

Vault: How is Ignyte innovating in your space? What opportunities excite you most?

Ashley: Ignyte is always looking to innovate in all areas. AI is at the forefront of conversations in the tech industry right now and Ignyte has been able to leverage AI integrations that allow our clients to have access to the latest technology.

Vault: What do you enjoy most about your work—and what keeps you motivated?

Ashley: What I enjoy most about this position is collaborating with my team and coworkers. Everyone I’ve gotten the chance to work closely with is extremely dedicated to producing high-quality work and always willing to help out. I find I do my best work when surrounded by talented, kind people and Ignyte fosters that environment.

Vault: How do you foster a culture of continuous learning within your team or among your peers?

Ashley: I try to make sure I’m discussing lessons learned, celebrating experimentation, and creating space for team members to ask questions. As a consultant, we’re encouraged to think creatively and come up with unique solutions so I think continuous learning is inherent to the work.

Vault: How has mentorship influenced your growth at Ignyte?

Ashley: Mentorship has had a huge influence on my growth at Ignyte. My advocate is always there for me whether I have a technical question, a career question, or just need a chat. She’s also been a huge role model as getting to work with her has helped me sharpen my own skillset as I learn from her example. Having leaders who take the time to guide me, challenge me, and help me navigate complexity has been an invaluable experience.

Vault: How do you envision your career evolving at Ignyte over the next few years?

Ashley: I was recently promoted so I currently see myself continuing to grow in this position by deepening my skillset and expertise. However, I would also love to take on a more formal mentoring role so I can be a resource for future Ignyte team members. Ultimately, I hope to drive impact not only through client engagements but also by helping strengthen our team and culture.
