About Kenway Consulting

Kenway exists to help companies that need help. More importantly, Kenway wants to provide help to people at those companies who want it. The firm operates in the nexus between clients’ technology and business organizations—bringing together diverse teams that can remain agile and adaptable as a project evolves. Kenway’s stated goal is to provide “the highest possible quality for the lowest possible cost” by bringing “big consulting acumen” to the table without “big consulting rates.”

Core Capabilities

Kenway Consulting strives to bring value to clients through three core capabilities that encompass a range of services. The firm’s Technology Solution Delivery capability is how Kenway enables people and processes through technology. This begins with establishing and aligning IT Strategy with the business strategy, and dives into forming the solution architecture, design and development for custom-built or enterprise package solutions. This is how Kenway helps clients to run their businesses better.

Kenway’s Information Insight capability covers “all things data,” ranging from partnering with leadership to define data governance frameworks, to designing and managing the flow of data, to building business intelligence and advanced analytics applications.  This is how Kenway helps clients to understand their business better.

The firm’s Enterprise Program Leadership capability is how Kenway helps organizations deliver strategic and transformational initiatives, and realize the return on these substantial investments.  Kenway does this through effective skills, processes and governance, from planning, into execution, and through deployment.  This is the glue to ensure people, process and technology are aligned for successful execution.

Being Good and Truthful

Kenway Consulting was established on the foundational principles of “being good and being truthful.” Enshrined in the firm’s core values are a set of Guiding Principles that steer every action for each employee—from leadership down. Kenway employees approach every decision ethically, with a focus on means instead of outcomes as a measurement of success.

Kenway’s Guiding Principles include integrity, communication, the unique treatment of each individual, entrepreneurial spirit & tenacity, value and quality, and means over outcomes. Together, these Principles set forth a path for Kenway consultants to follow in every client engagement.

COVID-19 Update

Kenway’s number one priority during the COVID-19 pandemic is to ensure the health of its employees and clients. Although all employees are working remotely, they continue to operate by the company’s set of Guiding Principles, always acting with integrity and communicating effectively to provide clients with the highest quality of consulting services. They also continue to innovate, and have created new services to help clients deal with the new business problems that have arisen as a result of the pandemic.

Kenway Consulting is a management and technology consultancy founded in 2004. It has been named a “best place to work” multiple times by publications like Crain’s Chicago Business, Consulting Magazine, and the National Association for Business Resources, as well as to the Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Through deep industry and technology expertise, Kenway helps clients meet their needs for strengthened leadership and execution in project settings.
