Travel requirements are fairly light, as we will often travel for 1-2 days each 1-2 months per project. Consultants are typically staffed on 1 project at a time, and so are typically traveling once every 2 months. We also do not value face time, so team members are welcome to work at home after hours if needed. If they are able to get their work done within office hours, they can leave their laptops in the office. It's easy for people to take vacation - they book it in our HR system and can generally take it without issue.
