Best: The firm is very firm on only working your allotted hours and not overworking. There is a high emphasis on work-life balance and it is encouraged to take time off to avoid burnout. When it comes to travel requirements, the firm asks for your preference/willingness to travel (i.e., 0%-100%). The firm is very much about letting you work the way that you want to work.

Worst: We are a consulting firm, there are a lot of Type A people that work here, people tend to agree to extra activities and opportunities which can lead to burnout/overload. This falls more on the employee and not on the frim, but many strive for greatness here. It would be nice to have a set amount of vacation time given to employees once they start work, but I am sure that this is the case for most organizations.
