Hedge Fund Analysts

Hedge fund analysts do not belong to unions. Many professional associations provide useful resources to analysts. For example, the CMT Association offers membership, continuing education classes, and the chartered market technician credential. CFA Society New York provides membership, career resources, and an interest group for investment professionals. The Managed Funds Association represents the professional interests of hedge fund and managed futures firms. It offers networking, education, and business development conferences. Other useful organizations include 100 Women in Finance, Association of Women in Alternative Investing, CFA Institute, Chartered Alternate Investment Analyst Association, International Association for Quantitative Finance, Investments and Wealth Institute, and the New York Alternative Investment Roundtable.
