Mutual Fund Financial Managers

Mutual fund financial managers are not members of unions, but many join professional associations. The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants offers membership categories for accounting college students and certified public accountants and provides continuing education classes that will be of interest to financial managers. The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) has its own proprietary online social network called myIMA Network (https://linkup.imanet.org), which is available to IMA members. The IMA also awards the certified management accountant credential and publishes Strategic Finance and Management Accounting. Other noteworthy organizations include the Association for Financial Professionals, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Financial Executives International, Financial Management Association International, Institute of Internal Auditors, National Association of Corporate Treasurers, International Investment Funds Association, and Investment Company Institute.
