Cherry Bekaert offers students the opportunity to achieve their learning objectives through internships located in offices throughout the Southeast. A Cherry Bekaert internship gives students insight into the public accounting profession and helps build a solid foundation for their careers.
As an intern with Cherry Bekaert, students will:
- Shadow tax and audit managers
- Participate in team building and training initiatives
- Prepare financial statements
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of assignments
- Participate in a marketing project
- Attend social functions
- Contribute to a community service project
The Ideal Candidate
Students who are US Citizens who are enrolled in an accredited accounting program and have one academic year remaining before they plan to work full-time.
Candidates must also have proficiency with computers, spreadsheet applications and calculators. As an intern, you will receive a computer for business use with access to the Firm’s technology.
