With a Cherry Bekaert internship, interns will gain insight into public accounting and consulting professions and build a solid foundation for their careers. Interns can expect to:
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
- Apply knowledge learned in school while performing client work using firm technology.
- Shadow professionals of all levels.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects, and other outings.
The Ideal Candidate
Students who are US Citizens who are enrolled in an accredited accounting program and have one academic year remaining before they plan to work full-time.
Candidates must also have proficiency with computers, spreadsheet applications and calculators. As an intern, you will receive a computer for business use with access to the Firm’s technology.
