Gilead offers students from all areas of study an exciting student internship out of its corporate headquarters in Foster City, California. The application process opens in September and closes in February, with the selection notifications going out in early spring for the summer session.
To be eligible, students must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program. Interns have the chance to work in the following areas: scientific research, communications, corporate finance, human resources, information technology, legal, manufacturing, and operations. The Gilead internship program offers a great balance between an educational experience and a hands-on one, with students getting to engage in both real, meaningful projects as well as working with their fellow interns and mentors on simply learning the skills and elements that go into a career at a leading biopharmaceutical company.
