During this 10-week immersive experience, they develop profound skills in their chosen fields while gaining a robust appreciation for disciplines outside their areas of focus. UScellular Intern Program Advantages
UScellular’s Intern Program provides you with the opportunity to truly learn our business with first-hand experience. You will apply your knowledge and skills as you participate in business-impacting work over the course of the summer. Your leader and other team members/mentors are available to provide guidance and support throughout the summer. In addition to the project(s) you will be assigned to and contribute to, you will have opportunities to learn about other areas and departments of the business.
Your successful internship will include the following program components:
Experience UScellular presents each intern with real-world, career-level experience. Each intern is assigned to and responsible for project-based work that impacts our business. Telecom Acumen:Â Targeted learning so you can understand UScellular as a whole and how your role impacts other parts of the business.
Goal-Setting/Personal Development Plan You will create an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and set clear goals at the start of your experience, capture your activities, and track your results. Your objectives will include your personal development and key success indicators for your department. As you wrap up your internship, your leader will schedule and complete a final performance review.
Inclusive Corporate Culture UScellular Interns are fully integrated into our corporate culture: The Dynamic Organization. With opportunities to be involved with our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Associate Resource Groups and volunteerism.
Accessibility to Leaders Throughout the 10-week program, our interns are provided multiple opportunities to engage with executives and other leaders within the company both Web-based and face-to-face (as appropriate). These opportunities to check in are designed to discuss your ongoing success as well as any challenges or needs as you proceed through the summer.
Top Intern Contributor Awards Individual intern leaders have the opportunity to nominate their respective interns each summer to be considered for our Top Intern Contributor Scholarship. This award recognizes superior contributions to their team, quantifiable results, individual initiative, and personal development. Award winners receive a scholarship to assist with college expenses.
Resources UScellular interns have access to a proprietary internal portal that helps facilitates intern engagement and serves as a repository for resource materials, photos of your journey with us as well as our events calendar. You’ll also have access to CellSite, where we house all resources for every associate.
Personal Enrichment UScellular offers an energetic and challenging work environment where individual development is paramount to driving superior results, not only for the organization but the individual intern or associate.
