It's investment banking. You're going to work hard. Having said that, it is rare that seniors create work for the sake of it or that you're required to work on projects where the value proposition is unclear. Most people here are incredibly collegial and a pleasure to work with. Seniors are virtually always respectful of my time and commitments outside of work so long as I am available when needed.
