• Representing all plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation In Re Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001, seeking to hold accountable alleged material sponsors and supporters of the terrorist organization responsible for the attacks.
• Won a four-week jury trial for the manufacturer of the popular dietary supplement Prevagen, and the company’s president, in a false advertising case filed by the FTC and the New York attorney general.
• Handled a three-day bankruptcy auction for Akorn Holding Company (which involved hundreds of participants and resulted in successful purchasers paying an aggregate of $309 million), negotiated the subsequent asset purchase agreements, and closed the resulting 21 individual sale transactions on behalf of the trustee appointed to administer the estate.
• Served as regulatory counsel to Alaska Airlines on its $1.9 billion acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines, overcoming the DOT’s initial withholding of a required licensing-related approval.
