Overall Interview Rating
4 out of 5 Stars
This is handled by HR but know that we work to be extremely responsive. Especially for those that we do not give offers to. We believe that how you treat people who don't get offers is very important. To treat them with respect, call out the amazing things about them and treat them with dignity and honesty - certainly not string them along. Similarly, when we have someone who is unanimous across the board, and also gets the green light from our CEO, we move quickly and can enter into a contract within hours. Our ideal candidate is someone that emulates our culture near perfectly. We believe strongly that we can develop our people's technical and soft-skills through all of the coaching and mentorship, but a cultural fit is that of the highest importance. The top 5 list of attributes we are seeking in the ideal candidate is:
1. Extraordinarily strong values in relation to integrity, honesty, service, excellence and learning
2. Submission to the process of continuous constructive feedback, thin skin and constant dialogue about healthy performance. Both in the context of receiving feedback but also giving feedback. Interns have the ability to give the CEO performance based constructive feedback.
3. Someone extremely adaptive to different industries, work environments, skills, types of executives, etc. Flexibility.
4. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing - seeing selections of previous work is quite important.
5. Personality / style - we love to laugh as an organization and see hyper-professionalism as a detractor from our culture. We desire someone we like both inside and outside the office. While not a requirement, it is part of our cultural fit as we end up being nearly as close as family to our team members.
