Doll Designers and Makers

While the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) does not specifically provide an employment outlook for doll designers and makers, it does discuss industrial designers, a career category that includes toy and doll designers. It predicts that job opportunities for industrial designers will increase 3 percent (more slowly than the average for all careers) from 2018 to 2028. Consumer demand for innovative products and new product styles will sustain the demand for industrial designers, although competition will be very strong for the best design jobs.
