Mutual Fund Risk Managers

Mutual fund risk managers are not members of unions, but many join professional associations that provide career resources, certification, continuing education classes and webinars, and publications. For example, RIMS-The Risk Management Society offers membership for college students and professionals, publishes Risk Management magazine, hosts an annual conference and other events, and offers the RIMS-certified risk management professional credential. Other noteworthy organizations include the American Risk and Insurance Association, Global Association of Risk Professionals, Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, ProSight Financial Association, and the Public Risk Management Association.
