Salaries for real estate clerks vary depending on the size and geographic location of the company and the skills of the worker. Some new clerks may only earn minimum wage ($7.25 an hour, or $15,080 annually) until they gain experience. The U.S. Department of Labor reports that clerks who are employed in the offices of real estate agents and brokers earned mean annual salaries of $36,030 in May 2019. Salaries for all office clerks ranged from less than $10.16 per hour ($21,140 annually) to $26.59 per hour ($55,300 annually) or more.
Benefits for real estate clerks depend on the employer; however, they usually include such items as health insurance, retirement or 401(k) plans, and paid vacation days.
