Analysts usually receive benefits such as paid vacation days and sick leave, health and life insurance, a 401(k) or other retirement savings plan, and closing bonuses (for sourcing or doing due diligence for an investment deal that is closed). They do not receive carry (a small percentage of the profits the firm makes) or the opportunity to co-invest (invest their own money alongside the firm in some deals).
