Venture Capital Associates

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) does not provide an employment outlook for private equity associates, but it does report that job opportunities for financial analysts who work for securities, commodities, and other financial investment and related firms are expected to grow by 5 percent, faster than the average for all careers, through 2029, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Most recently, the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted many industries, causing business shut-downs and an economic slowdown. Employment growth for venture capital associates is expected to pick up post pandemic, later in 2021. Competition for jobs will be keen, however, so venture capitalists who have a master's degree, certifications, and prior experience will improve their employment prospects.
