Wealth Management Analysts

Unions and Associations

Wealth management analysts do not belong to unions. Many join associations, which provide certification, professional development opportunities, career resources, networking events, publications, and other benefits. For example, the Association of International Wealth Management is a membership organization for wealth managers, portfolio managers, investment advisors, asset managers, and trust and estate practitioners. It offers the certified international wealth manager diploma, seminars on financial and wealth management issues, and networking opportunities. The CFA Institute provides certification and continuing education opportunities. Other noteworthy organizations include the American Bankers Association, Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education, Association for Financial Professionals, CFA Society New York, Chartered Alternate Investment Analyst Association, Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, and Women in Insurance and Financial Services.
