career mobility is much easier for less experienced individuals - first year associates can rotate through the largest 3 departments and choose their career path based on their interests. Through the first 5 years, it is much easier to transfer departments within a division given similar technical requirements allow more flexibility. However, we have had more experienced individuals change divisions, such as moving from audit to internal accounting and tax into recruiting.
