Quality of Life Review
Best: amazing firm culture. Coworkers that I consider friends and feel comfortable going to dinner with, getting drinks, or even look forward to chatting with during lunch time. The office in Boston is modern, clean, and well-stocked with snacks and drinks that enhance the environment we spend a majority of our time in. The training program was robust, in-depth, and perfectly equipped us with the tools needed to succeed in our roles. The length of the training program (8 weeks) was also just a great example of Health Advances investment in its people. Never once were we encouraged to start case work, or do anything other than the responsibilities involved in the training curriculum such as modules, the project, and a practicum, so that we could stay focused on using that time as a learning experience. Limited travel has helped me settle into life at Boston, enhance my relationships at my home, and set a routine as I go into the same office every day. Office location is by public transportation making it accessible to anyone without a car.
Worst: The Boston office is actually just outside the city (reverse-commute).
