High School
Employers prefer hiring individuals with at least a high school diploma for photographic laboratory jobs. Knowledge of photography is also important.
Postsecondary Training
Many two-year colleges and technical institutes offer programs in photographic technology. Graduates of these programs can obtain jobs as developers and supervisors in photo labs.
