Remote sensing technicians participate in professional associations for access to educational programs, certification, conferences, research and publications, and job referrals. For example, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing offers membership, certification, publications (including Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing), and other resources.
