Overview

Meteorologists study weather conditions and forecast future weather conditions. Forensic meteorologists use historical meteorological data and their meteorological expertise and investigative skills to help law firms, insurance companies, government agencies, and other entities establish weather-related facts in regard to past events that are being addressed in lawsuits, insurance claims, criminal investigations, and environmental regulatory actions.
