According to the U.S. Department of Labor, general and operations managers for sports organizations earned average annual salaries of $100,780 in May 2019. Chief executive officers earned an average of $184,460, while earnings for managers of departments, such as advertising, human resources, marketing, and sales ranged between $61,930 and $208,000.
