According to the U.S. Department of Labor, as of May 2023, the average annual pay for telecommunications equipment installers and repairers, excluding line installers and repairers, was $61,270. Salaries, however, vary based on the type of job done, an employee's experience and education, and the company's location. At the low end of the pay scale, 10 percent of installers and repairers had annual earnings of less than $38,360, while the top 10 percent earned more than $91,740.
