Directors of fund-raising direct, develop, and execute fund-raising efforts for an organization. They develop strategies for obtaining financial support from individuals and businesses. They coordinate campaigns that bring in donations for their organization. Directors of fund-raising cultivate corporate sponsorships and write and apply for grants. In 2023, there were 31,810 fund-raising managers in the United States, according to the Department of Labor.
