Overview

Fund-raisers develop and coordinate the plans by which charity organizations gain financial contributions, generate publicity, and fulfill fiscal objectives. They are employed by a variety of nonprofit organizations, including those in the arts, social service, health care, and educational fields, as well as by private consulting firms around the country.
