Electrologists

Overview

Electrologists are trained professionals who remove hair from the skin of patients. The electrologist uses a probe to shoot an electric wave into the papilla, or root, of the hair to kill the root and deter new hair growth. Since the root may not be destroyed on the first try, it is often necessary to treat the same area many times over a period of months or even years.
