Roman Catholic priests who also work in nonreligious careers (such as teaching) may become members of a union or professional association. The National Federation of Priests' Councils is an organization for bishops, presbyterates, and priests. The National Religious Vocation Conference, a membership organization for vocation ministers for religious congregations, promotes vocation awareness, invitation, and discernment to life as a priest or religious sister or brother.
