In its "Winter 2025 Salary Survey," the National Association of Colleges and Employers reported that the average starting salary for business majors in the class of 2025 was $65,276, up 2.1 percent from the previous year.
According to ZipRecruiter.com, investor relations specialists earned average annual salaries of $87,180 in June 2025. Salaries ranged from $33,000 to $160,500 or more. Investor relations professionals receive benefits such as health and life insurance, paid vacation days and sick leave, and a 401(k) or other retirement savings plan.
