About Simon-Kucher
Simon-Kucher is a global consulting firm specializing in strategy, marketing, pricing, and sales. With about 2,000 employees and offices in 30 countries, their practice is built on evidence-based, practical strategies for profit improvement. The firm is regarded as the world's leading pricing advisor and thought leader, with 37 years of experience under its belt. In addition to pricing, Simon-Kucher works to streamline marketing and sales for clients, and assists them in developing corporate strategies. The company has conducted projects for clients in almost every country.
Unlike cost-cutting initiatives, Simon-Kucher’s work in growing clients’ revenue and profit has no natural limits. As long as consumers, technologies, and business environments keep changing, companies will need help with monetizing their products.
Digital
Simon-Kucher has worked for several unicorns, helping them to monetize innovations, accelerate growth, design loyalty programs and business models, and to package and price their offering – in short, to boost their top line. In the digital age, there are tremendous opportunities to maximize growth. Simon-Kucher analyzes and implements solutions in all key phases of the sales funnel: from marketing to sales, from personalization to loyalty, from pricing to segmentation. The firm’s experienced digital consultants, industry experts, data scientists, and technology advisors use both data and qualitative insights as a starting point to work on any business challenge.
Company Culture
Simon-Kucher’s common values include creating a positive impact, valuing authentic relationships, unlocking the power of opportunity, and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. Employees on all levels especially live up to the latter: All of the partners are not only owners of the company, they are also entrepreneurs in the truest sense of the word. Every day, they are driving forward the firm’s economic success and future development.
Looking at the corporate strategy, Simon-Kucher practices what it preaches and applies the same philosophy to their own business that they recommend to clients through their publications. Simon-Kucher is not a general strategy shop, and does not take on projects such as cost-cutting or restructuring that require skills outside of their specialized scope. Simon-Kucher remains committed to growth in its own niche, building on existing client relationships, attracting new clients, expanding into new industries, and opening offices in emerging and developed markets, all the while focusing on what they do best: pricing, sales and marketing strategies.

Simon-Kucher on a Steady Growth Path
The global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners ended the 2020 financial year with an annual revenue of 361.5 million euros (406.2 million US dollars). This equals a growth rate of one percent compared to the previous year, with the Life Sciences division reporting the largest increase in revenue (19 percent). “2020 wasn’t an easy year for any company or industry,” says co-CEO Mark Billige. “We weren’t able to achieve what we had originally planned for the previous year. But despite the ongoing crisis, we are optimistic for 2021 and expect we’ll be able to quickly find our way back to our usual double-digit growth--thanks in no small part to our strong team of committed and motivated employees.”
On January 1, 2021, Simon-Kucher elected 18 new partners worldwide (eight in Europe, six in the Americas, and four in Asia), bringing the total number of partners to over 140.
The management consultancy also has plans to expand in terms of offices. The opening of a location in Berlin is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021, making it Simon-Kucher’s 41st office worldwide and the 6th office in Germany.
