Ayurvedic practitioners are not typically members of unions. The National Ayurvedic Medical Association represents the Ayurvedic profession in the United States, and provides membership, certification, continuing education, and networking opportunities to Ayurvedic practitioners. The American Institute of Vedic Studies, Ayurvedic Institute, and Chopra provide Ayurvedic medicine course work. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health is a subagency of the National Institutes of Health that provides information on Ayurvedic medicine.
