Unions and Associations
Fire safety directors do not belong to unions, but some join local or statewide professional associations. For example, FSDs in New York can join the Fire and Life Safety Directors Association of Greater New York, which offers social and networking events. The National Fire Protection Association can provide general information about fires and fire prevention.
