While there are no specific unions for this profession, horticultural therapists can join professional organizations such as the American Horticultural Therapy Association (AHTA), which provides certification, accredits certificate programs in horticultural therapy, publishes the Journal of Therapeutic Horticulture and AHTA Magazine, and offers continuing education opportunities.
