Unions and Associations
Most workers in the field do not join a union. However, there are some workers who choose to join the Service Employers International Union, which represents about 2 million service workers in health care, public, and property services.
Workers can also become members of IEHA, which offers educational and employment opportunities, as well as certification, to its members.
