Building performance diagnosticians (BPDs) conduct visual inspections and use technology to assess a building’s systems and overall structure in order to improve energy efficiency, identify and solve performance issues, and improve the overall quality of life for residents or other users. They are also known as building performance analysts, building performance consultants, building performance experts, and building performance specialists.
