Glaziers select, cut, fit, and install all types of glass and glass substitutes such as plastics. They install windows, mirrors, shower doors, glass tabletops, display cases, skylights, special items such as pre-assembled stained glass and leaded glass window panels, and many other glass items. There are approximately 56,500 glaziers employed in the United States.
