Robotics Technicians

Overview

Robotics technicians assist robotics engineers in a wide variety of tasks relating to the design, development, production, testing, operation, repair, and maintenance of robots and robotic devices. This includes assisting with work on peripheral equipment and computer software that is used to control robots. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that there are about 14,600 robotics technicians employed in the United States.
