Robotics Technicians

Earnings

Earnings and benefits in manufacturing companies vary widely based on the size of the company, geographic location, nature of the production process, and complexity of the robots. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) does not report on salaries specific to robotics technicians, but salary information can be garnered from other technician disciplines. For example, the DOL reports that electrical and electronic engineering technicians had a median annual salary of $65,260 in May 2019, with earnings ranging from $39,190 to $96,690 or more. Electro-mechanical technicians earned salaries that ranged from $36,520 to $93,450.

Employers offer a variety of benefits that can include the following: paid holidays, vacations, personal days, and sick leave; medical, dental, disability, and life insurance; 401(k) plans, pension and retirement plans; profit sharing; and educational assistance programs.
