Parking Attendants

Overview

Parking attendants work at parking garages and lots, which can be in corporate parks, stores, hospitals, government organizations, sports arenas, or other settings. They are responsible for parking vehicles and issuing parking tickets. They may also work in booths and collect parking fees. There are approximately 151,000 people employed as parking lot attendants in the United States, according to the Department of Labor.
