Mortgage Bankers

Unions and Associations

Mortgage bankers are not members of unions, but several professional associations provide useful resources. For example, the Mortgage Bankers Association—which represents companies that originate, service, securitize, invest in or insure residential and/or commercial/multifamily mortgages—offers certification and continuing education opportunities. Other useful organizations include the American Bankers Association, BAI, and the Consumer Bankers Association.
