Compliance managers make sure that companies operate in compliance with government and industry regulations and standards. They are also known as compliance managers. Compliance managers work closely with business executives, analysts, consultants, and other specialists to develop the legal and ethical standards for companies and to communicate this information to employees. They maintain documents on compliance activities and conduct internal investigations and identify issues related to regulatory or compliance standards. Industries that are strictly regulated, such as finance and health care, employ compliance managers to ensure the organization complies with external rules as well as internal standards.
